The  Storm Soccer Academy offers the following training serviceservices for clubs:

Coaching Coaches
The Storm Academy offers a series of travel or intramural clinics with the focus on age appropriate practice sessions for all clubs. The practices are reinforced with handouts and a question and answer follow-up. These sessions would be open to all club coaches. A senior level instructor from the academy will operate all sessions.

Director of Coaching
Serve as primary resource for establishment and implementation of club intramural curriculum

-To provide technical and educational support to intramural and or travel team coaches over and above the game day role by running clinics and coaching sessions open to all intramural and or travel coaches and parents.

-To be available to report to the club board on status and/or progress of programs under the direction of the Storm Academy.

-To serve as a resource for the club travel program by attended selected club games and advising the head of the club travel program.

-To help in the dissemination of soccer related information through e-mails to club members regarding events or activities within the club.

-To coordinate the natural progression of the intramural player into the travel team player and to work with travel coaches and trainers alike in this regard. This role can be extended or modified according to your clubs' needs.

Goalkeeper Training
Storm Academy will offer goalkeeping training to all clubs at the the pre-travel and travel age groups. Jon Urbom, former Goalkeeping coach of Dowling and St. John's University, will conduct the practices and oversee other goalkeeping coaches in the Academy. Jon will work from his own curriculum and extensive experience for all that participate.

Pre-Travel Training
Storm Academy offers a pre-travel program to the third grade players in the club to prepare them for their first experience of travel soccer. This program will introduce the players to new concepts of the game that include tactical awareness, speed of play, and technique under pressure whilst at the same time making the practices fun. The Storm offers a fall and spring season program or just a spring program. Each season will consist of an eight-week program with the last week being the try-outs. The same coaches that perform the practices will conduct the try-out.

Intramural Training
The focus is on producing a fun filled environment, which the younger player can enjoy and develop a love of soccer in. Time will be spent on techniques and small-sided play. Players will be encouraged to spend time away from organized practices working with a soccer ball and developing a feel for the ball. 

Kindergarten Training
As the most basic of the grass roots of soccer this age group will receive their introduction to soccer in a fun filled and playful environment. One-hour sessions will be used for basic techniques, touches on the ball, and small-sided multi-ball game play.
